Panama has two seasons. January to April is the dry season. May to December is the wet season. During the wet season there are thunderstorms most days but they are over quickly. The temperature is mostly the same during both seasons so Panama is really an all year round destination.

Panama’s climate is hot and humid (especially in the lowlands), so it’s best to bring comfortable, light clothes. Panama’s mountainous regions can, however, get downright chilly.

If you are coming from the United States, no — in most places, Panama’s voltage is the same as the U.S., 110 volts, and the sockets are two-pronged.
